All our tarmac driveways, will always have a sufficient Sub-base, only using roads spec products for example we will always use the correct amount of subbase as a minimum. This would Be established on the dig out process if the ground is soft more subbase is required.
All of our tarmac drives will be to a high standard using experienced team who have worked together for many years. We only use hot rolled tarmac, again with the manufacturers recommended depths and quantities.
For a private driveway, we would recommend a subbase of 50 ml of (20ml base course) and a 35ml of (10 ml wearing course) with a 150ml foundation mot type one.
